- According to nationsonline website (1999) that the number of Arabic speaker in all over the world is nearly 280 000 000
Where are the main area in the UK where this language is spoken?
- Arab in London (2009) stated that "Arabs have been visiting these shores for thousands of years, but large scale immigration began by the end of the 19th century, today there are an estimated half a million Arabs living in the UK, mainly in the capital itself."
What is the history of this language in the UK? When was it first spoken? Who by? What is the story behind its arrival in the UK?
- the story begin in the London where most of arab nationalities were living their. few of them were from Gulf countries but most of them were from Iraq and Libya. Moreover, there are no specific period that it was first spoken but nearly from long time. Nowadays, the Iraq people are the most presented in the UK and they also the first arab who spoke arabic language in the UK. As it known that Iraq is occupied from long time and most people were find difficulties to live in their country.
Any other information about this language that you think may be interesting for other member of the class?
- The arabic language is one of the most important language in the world. Therefor, most of the European people would like to lean this language there is a place called "center for the history of Arabic Studies in Europe" which they are want to know more about Arabic culture.
